Marilia Kaisar is a filmmaker, artist and scholar from Greece. In her previous lives she has been a film critic, an architect, a ballerina and an explorer of unknown territories. She is currently a PhD Student of Film and Digital Media at UC Santa Cruz.
Her experimental practice explores notions of affect, technology and virtuality, using the body as a nexus point.
She holds a Diploma of Architecture (2015) from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and an Master’s in Media Studies from Pratt Institute(2018).
