I have three new writing projects (crazy right?)

  • A peer reviewed article that will look like an autotheoritical media history on polishing language in BDSM greek forums in 2014-2016 for Porn Studies


  • A peer reviewed article on vulnerability as a feminist media practice 


  • Some fresh research for both a design website and an academic book on wearable insertable fertility vagina trackers and how they look like teledildonics


I also have two book projects

  • Developing my upcoming book project Techno-Intimacies: Cybersex as Embodied Media thinking about cybersex through teledildonics, sexting, dating apps, VR porn, and the erotic space of the computer room.


  • Working with Teddy Pozo on a little book on Teledildonics, everyone’s favorite always new sex tech. 


And some film projects: 

  • Editing Image, Church, Island about the island of Tinos and the virtual image of Virgin Mary with coolaborators Pavlina Ploumbidi and Yiannis Lefas


  • Developing First Person Fucker: Notes on Research, Sex and Technology a public-facing series of essay films and performative lectures experimenting with archival material, sketches and voiceover to translate my experience of doing embodied research on sex and technology through a hybrid media format.


  • Sharing Becoming Cybersexual in film festivals. Wanna show it ? Reach out !!! 


Upcoming talks/workshops/art: 

  • Some of the work I produced at the Ways of Undoing workshop will be showing in an exhibition and screening at the Dundee Contemporary Arts museum in Fall 2026.

I participated in Ways of Undoing: Craft, Collaboration and Videographic Practice in St Andrews Sctotland and worked on a new project titled First Person Fucker in VR Porn: July 12-18, 2026

I presented “Deleting the Pornstar: Invisible Male Bodies in VR porn” at Network of European Cinema Studies, Montpellier, France, June 2026.

I organized and chaired a panel titled “Feeling the Virtual”at SCMS 2026 with panelists Cecilia Chen, Dave Parisi and Teddy Pozo and presented new work on teledildonics titled “Touch Interrupted: Teledildonics and Virtual Intimacy”.

Published an interview with Ariane Cruz in Handbook of Adult Film and Media. 


Presented “Cybersex as Embodied Media Practice” in 4S 2025 Reverbarations, in Seattle WA: Sept 3-6, 2025. Sponsored by NSF Travel Grant.
