What am I working on right now

I am currently developing two brand new strands of research  

  • Writing a peer reviewed article for Porn Studies that unravels as an autotheoritical media historiography of the use of language in greek BDSM platform BDSM Hellas from 2014-2016. 


  • Writing about wearable insertable fertility vagina trackers and how they look like teledildonics for an upcoming edited collection. 


I have two book projects

  • The monograph Techno-Intimacies: Cybersex as Embodied Media thinking about cybersex through a spatial axis focusing on objects and spaces of digital intimacy and how they choreograph the body. 


  • A co-authored little book on Teledildonics with Dr. Teddy Pozo. 


And some film projects: 

  • Image, Church, Island about the island of Tinos and the virtual image of Virgin Mary with coolaborators Pavlina Ploumbidi and Yiannis Lefas


  • First Person Fucker: Notes on Research, Sex and Technology a public-facing series of essay films and performative lectures experimenting with archival material, sketches and voiceover to translate my experience of doing embodied research on sex and technology through a hybrid media format.

  • My micro-film Pickwick is in the Wrong Room (2026) produced in under 15 minutes at the Ways of Undoing workshop is showing at the studio at the Wardlaw Museum, St Andrews, Scotland, Sept 17-Oct 29th, 2026.

  • A shorter earlier moderated version of First Person Fucker in VR Porn titled An Instructional Video on VR Sex  is screening as a part of an online screening. See the whole program here:



  • I will be joining Hallucinate, unbox, restart: a winter school for slowing down inside the synthetic everyday at the Department of Social Sciences of the University of Naples Federico II, Naples, Italy, October 27-29, 2026.

First Person Fuckers in VR Porn was screened in the Ways of Undoing Presents: Video Essays in the Archive, Dundee Contemporary Art (DCA), Dundee, Scotland, Sept 9, 2026.


I participated in Ways of Undoing: Craft, Collaboration and Videographic Practice in St Andrews Sctotland and worked on a new project titled First Person Fucker in VR Porn: July 12-18, 2026

I presented “Deleting the Pornstar: Invisible Male Bodies in VR porn” at Network of European Cinema Studies, Montpellier, France, June 2026.

I organized and chaired a panel titled “Feeling the Virtual”at SCMS 2026 with panelists Cecilia Chen, Dave Parisi and Teddy Pozo and presented new work on teledildonics titled “Touch Interrupted: Teledildonics and Virtual Intimacy”.

Published an interview with Ariane Cruz in Handbook of Adult Film and Media. 


Presented “Cybersex as Embodied Media Practice” in 4S 2025 Reverbarations, in Seattle WA: Sept 3-6, 2025. Sponsored by NSF Travel Grant.
